Rick is founder and principal of Corporate Perspectives, Incorporated, a fifteen-year-old organization development and training firm located in Tacoma, Washington. In addition, Rick is the Business Department Program Coordinator and faculty member at Pierce College in Puyallup, Washington, and an Adjunct Professor in Human Resources and Organizational Leadership programs at Chapman University. In 2006 he was recognized as Pierce College-Puyallup "Outstanding Instructor of the Year" by the Washington Association of Vocational Educators (WAVE).

Rick received a Master of Science in Human Resource Management and Development degree from Chapman University with emphasis in Training & Development; he is a former president of the Tacoma chapter of the American Society for Training & Development; a member of the Society for Human Resource Management; a Certified Professional Behavior Analyst; a Certified Professional Values Analyst; and a Certified Achieve Global facilitator.

Rick's accomplishments include authorship of the nationally published "Model for Creative Change," creation and production of the internationally distributed video training program called "Mentoring, the Success Connection," national and regional publication of numerous articles dealing with human resources and organization development, and over a decade of experience consulting with public and private sector organizations. In 1996 and again in 1999, Rick received the "President's Award for Outstanding Contributions to Human Resource Development" from TTI Performance Systems, an international publisher of productivity improvement assessments and resources.

A respected motivational speaker, workshop facilitator and corporate trainer, Rick "edutains" (educates and entertains!) and inspires his audiences with his quick wit, humorous storytelling and "people skills" knowledge.
Barbara Karamatic, CPBA, CPVA, CAIA
Certified Facilitator / Consultant

Barbara brings twenty-five years of leadership experience to our clients. She is a Certified Professional Behavior Analyst (CPBA), a Certified Professional Values Analyst (CPVA), a Certified Attributes Index Analyst (CAIA), a Certified Facilitator for "The Path of Dialogue" (the internationally acclaimed interpersonal communication skills-building program), and a Certified Facilitator for "Personal Vitality," the dynamic self-development program that helps individuals define and achieve their potential.

In her former position as production manager in a manufacturing company, Barbara successfully guided her staff of fifty supervisors and frontline employees through a series of difficult and challenging organizational restructures and labor shortages. An intuitive and skilled "people person," Barbara balanced her operational responsibilities with her employees' needs to maintain a high-energy team that consistently met its quality objectives. One of her frontline employees said, "Barb represents the real meaning of the words 'respect' and 'leadership.' I trust her."

Diana Naum Bullen
Senior Facilitator / Senior Trainer
Director of Online Education Partnerships

Diana brings over 30 years of corporate training and academic teaching experience to her role at Corporate Perspectives, Inc. She is a certified Emotional Intelligence coach through EQ at Work, certified in Genos Emotional Intelligence Assessments through Swinburne University, a certified Achieve Global facilitator, and a certified ASSESS Systems consultant. Diana holds a Masters in Organizational Leadership from Chapman University (Orange, CA).

Diana served as a Business faculty member for Pierce College (Lakewood, Washington) for over six years. She was honored by "Who is Who Among America's Teachers” in 2004, 2005 and 2006. In 2006 she was recognized as the Pierce College-Ft. Steilacoom "Outstanding Educator of the Year" by the Washington Association of Vocational Educators (WAVE).

Diana’s own diverse background and extensive international travels across three continents provide her with a solid foundation to coach, train and develop business professionals, directors and government dignitaries from multicultural backgrounds and disciplines. Her bilingual ability and extensive experience in corporate training, development, workshop presenter and strategic planning makes her a popular choice as an executive coach and corporate facilitator.

Diana is dynamic, purpose driven, organized, flexible, team oriented and fun. Because she is participant driven, she consistently creates and fosters the ideal learning environment for her clients.

 

Gary W. Hartloff
Director of Fire Service Partnerships

 


Gary Hartloff brings to Corporate Perspectives, Inc., 29 years of highly distinguished fire service experience. 

First serving as a Lieutenant in a volunteer department, Gary moved to another fire district where he was later elected and re-elected Fire Commissioner for fourteen years.  During that time he helped to facilitate the merger of three districts into what is now Central Pierce Fire & Rescue (Pierce County Fire District #6), a 200+ employee organization. At the time this was the largest fire district merger in Washington State.

Gary then worked in support services for Central Pierce Fire & Rescue (CPFR) for three years, helping out at public functions and large fires. He again ran for and again was elected as Fire Commissioner where he has served for six more years.  He is running for re-election again in fall, 2007.

An active and involved community leader and dedicated family man, Gary’s passion for the fire service continues through his membership in organizations like the Washington Fire Commissioners Association, and the Pierce County Fire Commissioners Association. He is also a member of National Association of Elected Fire Officials (NAEFO) where he serves on the Bi-Laws committee and as Regional Representative of Membership for Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Alaska.

 

Michael Buschmohle
Senior Consultant / Senior Facilitator
Michael Buschmohle, President of APPLAUSE! Associates, helps people communicate wonderfully well with words, pictures, voice, and body. As a speech coach and speaker trainer he has videotaped and critiqued 15,000 presentations of people in federal and state government, business, sales, high tech, education, law enforcement, and the judicial system. His clients have appeared on Oprah, Good Morning America and the Today Show. He has written speeches for the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court in Washington State, as well as for politicians, CEOs, managers, and professional speakers.

Co-author of the Effective Executive's Guide to PowerPoint 2000, he's a graphic artist, desktop publisher, and cartoonist. He's an instructor at two Seattle-area community colleges teaching courses on speaking, writing, meetings, listening, and marketing. He's also a faculty member of the National Center for State Courts. He is the creator of Performance Mapping©, a performance appraisal system that has been used successfully in the U.S. and Canada since 1978.

Currently President of the Board of the nonprofit Think First of Washington, he runs a summer program teaching people with brain and spinal cord injuries to tell their stories and deliver safety messages to school children. He's a former hospital director of training and a former Roman Catholic priest (who left the priesthood to marry; today he has two teenage children). He has been invited to conduct communications workshops in 39 states, Canada, and Mexico during the past three decades.
Christine Richards

With more than twenty-two years of private sector experience, Christine applies a wealth of business knowledge and ideas to client challenges. Her work in organizational development spans a wide range of industries.

Christine is president of her own consulting firm specializing in organizational performance improvement and an Organization Development Consultant/Trainer for Northwest Training Group. Christine has helped hundreds of professionals through customized on site training seminars and corporate retreats. An accomplished, informative and engaging speaker, Christine has entertained, informed and inspired audiences on two continents with her exciting keynote presentations and content-rich seminars. She has a gift for helping organizations improve their bottom lines by training and developing their employees.

Christine's particular expertise is in helping organizations develop and train their sales people and generate additional revenue by delivering outstanding customer service. Focusing on results-based training she has developed a sales training process that guarantees results. Senior executives and others look to Christine's "street smarts" for guidance and advice.
Dianna Multanen

Dianna Multanen helps organizations build work environments that motivate and inspire extraordinary results. She is a professional facilitator and consultant whose work in organizational development has addressed issues and training in a wide range of firms from manufacturing and high technology to construction and engineering.

As a trainer, executive coach, and consultant, Dianna brings a rich combination of experience and skill to any professional assignment. With more than fifteen years of first-hand business experience and eighteen years in organizational communication and training, she is a natural at merging soft skill competencies with bottom-line results.
